“Sweet Emma” – Late Harvest
A sweet sipper made from combining the floral Riesling & spicy Gewurztraminer to enjoy on either before or after dinner. Sweet, but not cloying, with the lightness of fresh fruit flavors on the front and soft delight on the finish. Think honey, cinnamon, apricot, pear, and rose.
Food Pairings: These wines tend to pair well with Asian dishes or zesty-flavored fare like BBQ or chicken wings. It’s also great with cheeses and lighter desserts.
Winemaker’s Notes: Why is it called “Sweet Emma?” A series of historical novels based in Aurora were released this past year called “Emma of Aurora”. They chronicle a spunky girl growing up in 1860s Aurora and her adventures in town. Our historic township is created a walking tour based on the books and we’ve crafted a wine to go with it.JOIN WINE CLUB
