We grow and make Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines from our 30-year old vineyards in the Willamette Valley, Oregon; and BIG, BOLD red wines from Walla Walla and beyond. Our Oregon tasting room is located in the historic old bank vaults located just off I-5 near the Woodburn Outlet Mall, and Wilsonville – just 30 minutes from downtown Portland and Salem.

Our Oregon tasting room was originally the Aurora State Bank. It was built at the turn of the century for the Lewis & Clark exposition and moved to Aurora. Learn more about Bank Robber Red (named for the woman that took the town’s money to win back her husband) and more…
Hot Rocks Pinot Noir – Grown in a rocky patch in our organic farm along the banks of the Molalla river this spot gets 10-15% more heat due to the stone reflection and thin soils. What comes out is a fruit forward, spicier, longer finishing Pinot Noir.
Bank Robber Red – Big Red Blend – A criminally good blend of Walla Walla grown Merlot & Cabernet and a touch of Petite Verdot. Aromatics of dark plum and ripe cherry with a deep body with light tannins on the finish. Named for the women who took the town’s money to win back her husband (it didn’t work).
‘Aurora’ – Walla Walla Red Blend – A rich, but not over the top, blend of Syrah, Sangiovese & a bit of Merlot that’s smooth dark cherry and blackberry notes on the front & layered oak on the finish. The Winemaker Wife’s Favorite…
Winemaker’s Reserve Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon – One of our favorite grapes, it’s ripe, rich and bursting with bouquet. Rich black cherry & strawberry combined with dark tobacco notes and silky finish.
Bank Roll White Blend – dazzling, bone-dry, refreshing combination of Pinot Gris, Riesling and Chard… Light pear, and flowers up front with a tart apple finish.
Salmon Safe Chardonnay – Fermented & aged in steel – smooth fruit & grassy notes and rich unoaked balance. Salmon Safe is an award for our stewardship and sustainability in the vineyards.
Pinot Grigio – 100% Estate Grown, light, bright with subtle fruit & clean finish. A great sipping wine or pair with shellfish & fruit.
Sweet Emma – Sweet, floral, & rich but not cloying… Late Harvest style Riesling & spicy Gewurztraminer fruit flavors and delight on the finish.
Are the stories true? Yes! the Aurora State Bank did lose all of its money and yes a manager (or two) were convicted of crimes and sent to jail. We are still doing research so we can get the ‘rest of the story’….
