Summer Saturday & Pegasus Pinot Noir from Pheasant Run Winery
Pegasus – our elegant (but with a little muscle & spice) Pinot Noir from the Hot Rocks Vineyard is back!
This really limited bottling (one barrel – just over 200 bottles) is back in the tasting room for a limited time. This lovely 2014 vintage wasa aged in french oak. Coming from a really interesting site- the banks of the Moalla River in the big city of Barlow (pop 154). Our organic farm that abuts the river has a portion that is literally just rocks and sand. When the sun hits the rocks they warm up and keep the soil nice and toasty. The fruit that comes from this site has much more spice and body than our other vineyards so we make a special single vineyard Pinot Noir that you can enjoy!
