While definitely a rock band, Mexican Gunfight’s stylistic influences abound: blues grit, country lyricism, the soulfulness of gospel, a rare jam thrown in…even tinges of Latin and jazz. Their decades of playing together in notable NW ensembles have honed these musicians’ songwriting, chops, harmonies and dynamics into a unified, expressive and powerful whole.
